Papua airport to reopen for Jakarta-Jayapura flights

Following the government’s policy on the new normal, the two-way direct flights between Jakarta and Jayapura in Papua Province will open on June 10, 2020.  There are five airlines, serving, namely Garuda, Lion Air, City Link, Sriwijaya, and Batik Air. The flights are direct or on non-transit routes. In accordance with the health protocols, each airplane will transport only 50 percent of the total passenger capacity. Each airline permit to serve one flight per week.
